Planning a new outdoor space usually starts with a few big questions. Which roof style suits the house? What drives the cost? Does it need council approval?
Our guides answer them in plain English, so you can walk into your first conversation with a builder knowing what you want and what to ask.
Getting quotes for a patio? Here is how to check a builder’s licence, what the quote should spell out, and why the cheapest number is rarely the same job.
Picton Bros Panelspan is a family-owned business that has been designing, manufacturing and installing outdoor living spaces across regional NSW since 1992. Every structure is made to order in our Dubbo factory, and our teams in Dubbo, Tamworth and Orange spend their days in real backyards, working out what suits each home.
That experience goes into every guide we publish. If it’s a question our customers ask us, it’s a question worth answering here.
Once you’ve done some reading, seeing what’s possible in real life makes the decision much easier. Browse our custom patios, decks and glass enclosures, or look through finished projects from homes across the region for ideas that suit yours.
Builders and installers can also find precision-cut kits and trade pricing through our Trade Shop.
Some questions are easiest to answer standing in your own backyard. Book a free on-site quote and our team will talk you through the design, materials and options that suit your home, with no obligation to go ahead.
